Sadness is also an Emotion NOT a Negative Emotion

Sadness can come out of nowhere. It may hit you in spurts or impact you in intervals and engulf you completely. It may have no rhyme or reason. Instead of having a negative perspective on sadness, one should take it positively. Sadness is like any other emotion. Sadness has its own characteristics and bring out other emotions like anger, frustration along. Sadness can be best dealt by being treated as a normal Emotion rather than a negative one. Sadness does not hamper growth particularly, it is the will to not work and immerse oneself in the tides of sadness that might not allow a person to find growth in their life.

“Sadness doesn’t stop your growth, making it a reason does.”

As sadness has no time frame to start or stop. An individual shouldn’t blame himself for feeling sad. Rather they should get the root cause of disturbance and find ways to happiness. One can write, talk to somebody, and take up various hobbies to remove sadness. “Talk to Rajeev Gupta” to speak your heart out and trust us that sometimes:

“It’s Okay not to be Okay”

Everything comes with Pros and Cons. Here, an attempt has been made to provide information on how you can extract some good things even out of sadness in some situations.

1. More Observant

An individual who gets sad even at small things, is more observant than the ones who are in normal mood. As they get sad over little things out of their observations. The changes in people impacts them, that’s where their observatory skills stand. The distractions affects the ones in gloomy mood bit less.

2. Better Judgments

The one who is not distracted has better abilities to distinguish between false and true statements as they are more focused and are better at judgments. Sad People often dodge the usual psychology of attributing to psychical characteristics like Pretty faces are nicer, more intelligent etc. Hence, being in a gloomy mood at scene of an accident can actually help one become a good eye witness.

3. Great Compelling Skills

When we are sad, we are at the deep rooted state of our emotions. They come up with the with more compelling requests than those who were in jovial mood. At places where a lesser interpersonal style of communication is required sad people with the characteristics of attentiveness, alertness, assertiveness can be better communicators.

4. Good Motivators

People in happy mood are often busy in being restricted to their own comfort zone. Those in sad mood may not be able to find solace with the current situation. They keep searching for the motivation to move forward to bring the desired change.

I would advise that we should embrace all the emotions as they play a vital role in the evolvement of an individual. Happiness has its own perks, Sadness can help an individual make more informed judgments - Free of any presumption and may not be entirely based on the first impression. Sadness in people allow more space for observation and analysis. Therefore, an affirmative statement could be passed on the basis of above point that going along with all that comes your way benefits you in one or other way.
